How To Get The Sacred Earth?

Our Office Is Located At 132 Lone Kauri Road, Karekare, Auckland 0772.

POST-CYCLONE ROAD CLOSURES: From Piha Road, the most direct way to get to us is via the first turn off –  Lone Kauri Road, however this road is currently closed to non-residents, so please take the alternate route to Sacred Earth via Karekare Beach (Karekare Road). 

Once you are on Karekare Road take the road all the way to the beach. Continue driving back up the valley, until in 10-15 minutes you will reach the first left turn which is where Sacred Earth is located. It is a gravel driveway which has lots of letterboxes close by. You will know you are in the right place if you see the sign towards Karekare Firestation, follow that driveway.

Sacred Earth comprises a number of properties along the gravel driveway. After you see the Firestation, continue down the hill until you will see 122 Satyavan and Savitri Temple on the left, these are the first of our spaces. 

By car

Continue driving for a little while until you reach a sharp turn in the road, follow the turn to the right until you see a sign for Tapovan Forest Retreat, take the left fork.

Sacred Earth Office is the first building on the right with parking for our Natures Gurukul and Hermitage Cabins directly on the right before the office. Additional parking is on the left.

If someone is not in the office, there are contact details available for you to call on the door, and you are welcome to sit in our office, connect to the wifi – if you have no service, contact us on WhatsApp if you need it and wait for us to check you in. Even if you are arriving late, please call in to the office or wait for someone to meet you

If you are arriving for our accommodation and need an airport pickup then we offer pick up options.

If you are arriving from public transportation :

Public transportation does not get you all the way to Sacred Earth. You will need to be picked up or arrange a taxi.

The closest you can get is to Henderson via train or bus. This will take you to the major transport station of Waitakere Central where we can pick you up.
