The Call of the Heart
Workshop 6:
Connection is the Medicine
In the vast ocean of life, we find an undeniable oneness that transcends boundaries.
Come into the silence and discover your true nature
In a world that is seemingly more connected than ever, thanks to internet and social media, it is astonishing that humans are actually becoming more disconnected than ever. It seems that the more we are outwardly connected with others, we are in danger of losing connection with our own being.
Connection, in a spiritual sense, begins with coming back to source within our own hearts. We begin to focus on the inner being, with all its inherent wisdom, which we carry with us from lifetimes, but also from our ancestral understanding (passed down from our forebears). Carrying that wisdom, we can begin to connect with others – a social connection; with nature – an environmental connection and with spirit – a universal connection.
Connecting has the potential to holistically heal our relationships, with ourselves, with others and with the wider creation. The inner union with our true nature reflects in all our other relationships. As we heal the emotional pain that we often carry, we begin to heal the reflection of that pain that we project out into the creation. In this way our connection with every aspect of our lives is healed – connection acts as a powerful medicine, creating wholeness and the supreme wellbeing – that of dissolving the illusion of separation.
