Join for an adventure in the forest to a secluded waterfall, delicious plant-based foods, good vibes, and beautiful connections. Together we will share simple tips that help create a solid foundation for your health and well-being.

Our passion is to show you how delicious and abundant a plant-based diet can be. Not only how it tastes, but also how it keeps us healthy and thriving.

Enjoy breakfast with a hot drink after restorative yoga class. Open buffet of superfood salads, savory raw or dehydrated goodies, as well as warm foods, will be offered for lunch followed by a herbal tea and a delicious raw treat. Each meal is prepared with a focus on bio-diverse organic plant ingredients, full of nutrients and flavor, that are enriching to our bodies and the planet.

You will also learn simple techniques to incorporate plant-based, non-processed and nutrient-dense foods into your lifestyle and learn how to avoid the use of refined sugar, gluten and over processed foods such as white flour. Instead, you will learn to value pure, natural and whole ingredients which are organic, enzyme-rich, and wholesome.

Yoga and Relaxation in a beautiful Temple and Total Nature Immersion

Our day begins with welcome tea at the temple overlooking the Tasman sea followed by a gentle vinyasa flow. Classes are designed to help you find foundational strength, freedom of movement and a connection to your breath with focus on yoga therapy and meditation. Beginners to yoga will get an introduction to yoga postures, breathing practices and relaxation techniques, while the more experienced will be guided in how to deepen their practice. All levels, bodies and souls are welcomed.

Experience great outdoors renowned by its diversity and pure energy. It is a walk in the wilderness of Waitakere ranges to a hidden waterfall on the sacred land, where we take the moment to connect and listen to the nature. It has something for every adventurer in us.

Discover the magic of yoga nidra followed by a closing circle during one of the most beautiful sunset you will see.

Paheko Living Day Retreat includes:

· Amazing Food Experience - Breakfast, Hot Drink, Lunch and Raw Treats

Am I fit enough to participate?
All levels, souls and bodies are welcome. There`s no level required to moderate (bush walk has few steep parts on the path).

10 years ago, Marion adopted a plant-based diet which led to her to awareness of sustainable and alternative food consumption. Since becoming increasingly conscious about the food we eat and how it impacts our mind and body, she believes that by making mindful and deliberate decisions about the ingredients we source, we are contributing to a sustainable food system that respects the earth and the people who make this possible.

Paheko Living Foods is born out of a commitment to excellent vegan cuisine and a passion to show just how delicious and abundant a plant-based diet can be. Not only how it tastes, but also how it keeps us healthy and thriving.

Marion specializes in providing nourishing food that supports the transformational work that takes place on retreats (yoga, meditation retreats, and in other similar settings). Marion offers a unique food experience with a sensitivity to special dietary requirements. She is also currently in the process of developing workshops that focus on natural food sourcing, sustainability, and culinary nutrition.



Yogini of happiness with a burning passion for people

Through her life journey recovering from injuries Dace shares and teaches individuals to encourage themselves and step into their truth through path of yoga.

Dace believes that little things can make a difference so she guides to think liberally to create that space where to feel loved. Her teaching draws on several types of yoga, including yoga therapy and dynamic style that uses movement and breath to help students find stillness and focus.

Her teaching is rooted in self-healing and recovery after injuries. It is the practice of breath-based hatha vinyasa style, but also draws on other types of yoga, including ashtanga, power vinyasa, and yin yoga. She encourages students to move at their own pace, trust their intuition and work slowly toward more challenging yoga poses.
